Jordans Solicitors Joins FBC Manby Bowdler and Adeptio Law Group

We’re pleased to share an exciting new chapter for Jordans Solicitors.

As of March 2026, Jordans Solicitors has joined FBC Manby Bowdler, the founding firm of the Adeptio Law Group. This marks an important step forward for our business, allowing us to build on our strong foundations while continuing to deliver the personal, trusted legal services our clients rely on.

Founded in 1991, Jordans has proudly served the communities of Blackheath and Halesowen for over 30 years. Throughout that time, our focus has remained the same: providing clear, supportive legal advice across property, wills and probate, and family law.

By joining FBC Manby Bowdler and the wider Adeptio Law Group, we now have access to greater resources, broader expertise, and enhanced support – while maintaining the local, client-focused approach that defines who we are.

Michael Jordan, Managing Director of Jordans Solicitors, said:
“This is a really exciting next chapter for Jordans. The firm was founded by my father in 1991, and everything we’ve built has been centred around serving our local community. That legacy means a great deal to me, and this move feels like the right step at the right time.

We share strong values with FBC Manby Bowdler, particularly when it comes to looking after our clients and our people. Joining the group gives us the opportunity to grow, while continuing to provide the high level of service our clients expect.”

Importantly, it remains business as usual for our clients. Our team, locations, and day-to-day services will continue as normal, ensuring continuity and consistency for everyone we support.

We’re proud of our history and excited about the future – and we look forward to continuing to support you with your legal needs.

Jordans Customers Acquisition FAQs

Q: What has happened at Jordans?

A: Jordans Solicitors has been acquired by well-known West Midlands law firm, FBC Manby Bowdler. Rest assured for clients, our branches in Halesowen and Blackheath remain open; and in most cases the team dealing your matter day to day remains the same. We also now have the ability to offer current and new client’s access to an increased portfolio of services including personal injury; employment and business law; community care; and contentious probate. You can view the full list of service areas on the FBCMB website.

Q: Are you changing your name and branding?

A: Yes, our name changes to FBC Manby Bowdler; and our branding will change. This will be visible on our website soon.

Q: Will this affect my legal matters – such as my house purchase or making a will?

A: For most clients; there will be no change to ongoing legal matters. You’ll continue to work with the same fantastic lawyers and receive the same brilliant service you’re used to from Jordans. If we have had to make any changes; you will have heard from the person dealing with your matter to confirm this and explain what is happening and the reason why. Our focus remains on ensuring new and existing clients receive the best service and client care possible.

Q: Will my current solicitor or legal team change?

A: Your current solicitor and legal team will remain the same. However, we are keen to offer opportunities and bring in more expertise which we hope will only benefit our clients. Our focus is on growth and expansion, not changing our existing structure or personnel.

Q: Are you planning to offer new services?

A: Yes, we can offer clients access to an expanded range of services as we have explained above. We’ll also keep you informed as we develop new offerings.

Q: Will FBC Manby Bowdler be merging with other law firms?

A: While we may acquire other respected regional law firms as part of our growth strategy, these firms would retain their own brands. FBC Manby Bowdler will continue to operate under its own name and is the founding law firm of the new group.

Q: How does this benefit me as a client?

You’ll have access to a broader range of services and deeper pools of expertise. We’ll be able to offer more comprehensive solutions to complex legal challenges, all under one roof.

Q: Is the firm still locally managed?

We’re proud of our history in this region. While Jordans is now part of a bigger group; the firm continues to operate out of its Blackheath and Halesowen offices; with Michael Jordan, who founded the original Jordans firm with his father in 1991, continuing to take a lead role in managing the business.
