Michael Jordan is Managing Director of Jordans having joined the firm in August 2006 as a Trainee Solicitor. Michael initially worked alongside his father John who established the practice in the early 1990s. When John retired in 2012 Michael took the reins.
Michael deals with residential and commercial property work and oversees the property (conveyancing) part of the business. Michael has established excellent links with local Estate Agents and other professionals in the sector. The property department has grown significantly over recent years thanks to our experienced and approachable team.
Michael’s leisure time revolves around his wife and three children who keep him very busy. He is an active member of King’s Community Church in Brandhall, Oldbury and a keen follower of most sports, in particular, cricket, football and Formula 1.

Baldeep joined the firm in June 2011 after training with Higgs & Sons. She became a Director in 2012. She is an excellent communicator and has the great skill of explaining often complex legal issues in a clear and concise way. Many of Baldeep’s clients are elderly and she understands the concerns of the older generation who very often are worried about protecting their assets and want to make things as clear and simple for their relatives to handle when they are gone.
Baldeep is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly which is a national association of solicitors who specialise in legal services for older people and their carers. Baldeep’s membership provides clients with the assurance that Jordans has wide ranging expertise in providing legal services for older people. Baldeep is also a member of the Private Client Section of the Law Society.
Rikki Bateman joined the firm in October 2014, having previously worked at a number of Birmingham and Black Country law firms. He qualified as a Solicitor in 2005, and has been involved in Residential Conveyancing ever since.
Rikki works within our Halesowen residential conveyancing team, providing support and experience to his colleagues. In the short time he has been with us, Rikki has already established a good rapport with local estate agents and professionals. Whilst Rikki does have over a decade of experience within the sector, he brings a very down to earth and approachable manner to his work, which helps clients deal with what can be a stressful time.
When not at work, Rikki can most likely be found in a local gym or out with his wife, family and friends. Recently, Rikki has begun taking part in obstacle course races, getting incredibly muddy whilst raising money for various charities.
Andrew qualified as a solicitor in 1973. He ran his own practice for many years at Shell Corner before joining the firm as a consultant in 2010. Andrew’s experience with all aspects of property law, along with Wills, Probate and Charity work, has greatly enhanced the service we are able to provide to our clients.
Emma Hingley joined Jordans in March 2015 having spent five years working at local Estate Agents. Her experience from that industry has enabled us to develop our approach to the process of buying and selling property for clients and her insights and contacts have proved invaluable.
Working at our Blackheath office alongside Michael Jordan, Emma has used her contacts from her time as an Estate Agent to quickly establish her own caseload and following. She is working towards her Legal Executive qualification and we are sure she will go from strength to strength in the coming years.
Emma has a busy social life and enjoys eating out, music concerts, the theatre, travelling and socializing with friend and family.
Sandy Bhangi joined Jordans in May 2012 to support our expansion in the residential property sector. Offering support to a Solicitor initially at our Blackheath office it became clear very quickly that Sandy was more than capable of managing her own caseload.
Now based in Halesowen, Sandy manages a varied residential caseload, dealing with freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, re-mortgage transactions and transfers of equity. Her thorough approach allied to a permanent smile and positive attitude mean she has quickly established good links with local Estate Agents and has numerous loyal clients that keep coming back for more!
A gym enthusiast Sandy also enjoys knitting. A regular traveller to the Far East to meet family, Sandy loves jet setting off to new places to experience different cultures and food.
